On Tuesday, October 4, the Islamic State (ISIS) announced, through identifiers close to it, two operations targeting the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the eastern and northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, eastern Syria.
Amaq News Agency, which is close to the organization, published a statement in which it said that the militants of the organization targeted with an explosive device a military vehicle carrying a leader of the "SDF" on the main road in the town of Jdeidet Akidat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The agency added that the targeting led to the injury of the commander and his companions, and damage to the car.
In another operation claimed by the organization against the "SDF" in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, "Amaq" reported that the militants of the organization managed to capture a member of the "SDF" in the village of Abu Al-Natel, affiliated to Al-Sour district, and he was killed by a bullet after interrogation, and the SDF did not comment on the incident. Until now.
Two days ago, ISIS announced an operation targeting a military vehicle of the SDF forces in the town of Jazirat al-Milag in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that the organization's cells have recently intensified their security operations in the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Deir ez-Zor, resulting in dead and wounded members of the SDF.
