10 violations during the month of September against journalists in Syria

The "Syrian Journalists Association" documented, in a report, violations against journalists in Syria, during the month of September, where it recorded 10 violations against media professionals.

According to the report issued on Tuesday, September 4, by the "Syrian Center for Press Freedoms" in the association "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, which has military influence in Idlib, it committed seven violations and one violation."

The report added that "the Assad regime committed a violation outside the country at the hands of the media office of a US military base in Germany."

The report recorded an "attack on security members of" Tahrir al-Sham "by beating and preventing them from covering the media, Ahmad Falaha, Muhammad al-Daher, Abdul Aziz Qitaz and Hadi al-Abdullah."

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Network for Human Rights has documented the killing of 711 journalists and media professionals since 2011 in Syria, on World Press Freedom Day.
