The regime withdraws its forces from Jassem city, Daraa, after reaching an agreement with its notables

The Syrian regime forces began withdrawing their military forces, which they had brought on Tuesday morning, to Jassem city, following violent confrontations in the city with local fighters from its people.

A former leader of the opposition factions in the city told Enab Baladi that the withdrawal came after negotiations that took place at the headquarters of the "Ninth Division" in al-Sanamayn city, north of Daraa.

The negotiating parties reached the withdrawal of all the regime forces that had gathered in the vicinity of the city since the morning, in exchange for returning the military vehicles that those forces had lost during the same day's confrontations with the people of the area.

In addition to the release of the six prisoners who were captured by local fighters during the confrontations.
