Sources in the Monitoring and Follow-up Units confirmed that the military factions affiliated with "Al-Fateh Al-Mubeen" operations room in Idlib, on Monday, fired a locally-made "surface-to-air" missile at a Russian "Berev A-50" aircraft known in the military community, in the name of "the operating room", without being able to hit her, according to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper.
The sources indicated that the missile was launched while the plane entered the airspace of Jabal Al-Arbaeen area, southwest of Idlib Governorate, to monitor it, without the missile exploding or being able to hit the plane.
He pointed out that the militias linked to Russia, stationed in Kafr Nabl, south of Idlib, targeted the towns of Kafr Awaid, Sufuhun, Falifel, Al Fatira, Benin and Al-Ruwaiha, within Jabal Al-Zawiya area, south of Idlib, and Kafr Ta'al, Kafr Amma and Tadel towns, in the western countryside of Aleppo, without causing any human casualties.
