Turkey's Interior Ministry Reveal Number Of Syrian Returnees To Their Countries

Agencies (Qasioun) – The Turkish Interior Minister, Sulaiman Suwailo, revealed that 311,000 Syrians returned to their country thanks to the safety and security achieved by the Euphrates Shield and Olive branch operations.


Suwailo said that Turkey hosting 3,644,342 Syrians registered in the International Temporary Protection program.


He highlighted that Security forces could arrest during the first 5 weeks of this year around 6,523 illegal immigrants.


In March 2018, The Turkish forces and Syrian opposition forces could liberate Afrin city in a successful operation dubbed as “Olive Branch” and could dislodge The Kurdish People’s Defense Units YPG militant group in 64 days.
