  • Algeria Close The Doors In Front Of Syrian Refugees For Security Concerns

    Agencies (Qasioun) – Algeria announced that it closed its southern borders in front of the Syrian refugees after claiming that groups of the Syrian opposition could sneak to its lands, where it considers them as a “Security threat”


    The Chief of migration policy in Interior ministry, Hassan Qasemy, that Syrians who wills to migrate to Algeria in this way “Suspected to be extremist Islamists and not welcomed”


    He added “we welcomed 50,000 Syrians during the past few years for humanitarian reasons” adding that around 100 reached the southern borders by the support of local gunmen in the last few weeks, and they were being chased after sneaking to Algeria.
