Agencies (Qasioun) – The Executive Council of the Democratic Union Party called for the general mobilization in the areas north and northeastern Syria.

The calls came after Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that a military operation will be conducted during the next few days.

The council said in a statement “in the name of the Executive Council of the Democratic Union Party for north and eastern Syria, we denounce and condemn the offensive statements and threats of Erdogan against our areas.” Adding that “We, in the Self-Management of north and northeastern Syria calls the international society including the UN and US-Led Coalition to take a decision against Erdogan offensive plans as it violates the international law.”

The statement ended “We, as Self-Management in north and east Syria call for the general mobilizations and call all the honorable Syrians to stand against the occupying policies of the Turkish state, we will sacrifice all our efforts to protect our land, people and dignity and we should do all our efforts to save the unity of our land.”

It should be noted that Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Turkish forces will launch a military operation eastern Euphrates in Syria during the next few days.
