  • Activists Mock Dahy Khalfan After Publishing Fake Picture On Khashoggi Disappearance

    Agencies (Qasioun) – A tweet published by the Head of General Security for the Emirate of Dubai, Dahy Khalfan, went viral and mocked by social media activists.

     

    Khalfan published a fake picture that aims to show that "Saudi consulate is innocent of Khashoggi disappearance" but the picture was published - by the satire Egyptian presenter, Yussef Hussein, who presents Joe Show TV program – as a kind of satire as it shows Khashoggi while going out of the consulate in the same second of entering the consulate, and replaced the number of black van's plates with the name of the TV show, Dahy tweeted the picture with an exclamation mark.

     

    Social media activists mocked the Emirati official and wondered how such a security official could share a picture related with a high-sensitive case, without authenticating it or checking the date and source of publish in addition to considering it as a prove that Khashoggi left the consulate.

     

    Khalfan tweeted previously that UAE able to show the truth to the whole world in 48 hours.
