Lebanese General Security Chief Visit Damascus To Discuss Syrian Refugees Return

Agencies (Qasioun) – The Lebanese General Security chief Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim said that his mission as a presidential envoy to Damascus "Focusing on returning refugees to Syria, and coordinating with the authorities and international organizations in Lebanon".


He added "The Russian initiative for the repatriation of Syrian refugees is in the process of being translated into practice after being briefed by officials in Lebanon" asserting that "Lebanon is the only gate to return Syrians to their homeland".


Lebanese government have said "1.5 Million Syrian refugees existing on its land, while the statics of UNHCR says that number is less than One Million".
