    Hasakeh (Qasioun) – The Syrian democratic forces SDF militant group launched a wide offensive on early Wednesday in the southern countryside of Hasakeh near the Syrian-Iraqi borders.

     

    Sources close to SDF said that the forces could capture Fakka village which is far 20km to the east of Shadady city, where the US forces are located.

     

    SDF opened 3 engagement fronts against ISIS in (Fakka, Saqar and Jalifa) areas, among a running military operation that aim to capture the areas close to the Syrian – Iraqi borders, with the support of the US-Led Coalition.

     

    The offensive came as ISIS launching military strikes against the Syrian regime forces and SDF eastern Deir Ezzor, and near the Euphrates river basin, where it could join its areas geographically with the Syrian desert and the eastern shores of Euphrates river.
