  • Following Syrian Regime Threats … ISIS Evacuate Southern Damascus

    (Qasioun) – Both Islamic State ISIS militant group and Syrian regime reached a deal on Thursday to evacuate ISIS fighters towards the Syrian desert.


    Sources told Qasioun News Agency that "A delegation for ISIS went out of their held areas to discover and observe the road, under a Russian sponsorship, which will be used while evacuating towards the Syrian desert"


    The deal came after the Syrian regime offered ISIS fighters 48 hours to approve the deal and evauate Yarmouk camp and Hajar Aswad area southern Damascus.


    Al-Watan journal, close to the Syrian regime, said that "in case ISIS refused to evacuate, the army and their allies ready to launch a military operation and eliminate ISIS presence in the area and recapture it"


    Noteworthy that Yarmouk camp is located 8km. far away from Damascus, which was populated by Palestinian refugees in Syria before the spark of the Syrian revolution in 2011"
