  • Get To Know More About Syrian Regime's T4 Airbase

    Agencies (Qasioun) – Media sources said on Monday that 14 military personnel were killed including 4 Iranians after airstrikes launched by the Israeli occupation warplanes on T4 airbase in Syria.


    The airbase is called T4 and located near Tayas village which is far away 60 km. eastern Palmyra city in Homs province.


    The airbase consists of 54 parking lots, main runway and 2 secondary runways, the airbase is considered the biggest airbase in Syria, followed by Dumair airbase in Dumair city.


    From 1970 to 1980, the Soviet Union was granted the right of using the airbase during the Syrian revolution, Syrian regime and Iranian militias used the airbase to attack the Syrian opposition.


    Noteworthy that Israeli warplanes bombarded the airbase last February and led to destroy the radar tower, according to Syrian observatory for human rights.
