(Qasioun) – The Islamic state ISIS militant group attacked on late Monday the Syrian regime and Iranian militias positions in Sukhna city's outskirts in the eastern countryside of Homs.

Sources denied ISIS capture Sukhna city, adding that it attacks the militias in the northern and western parts of the city's desert without expanding inside the city, while explosions were heard in the area held by ISIS and suspected to be an airstrike launched by the US-Led coalition.

The 55km area around Tanaf military base near the Jordanian – Iraqi – Syrian borders witnessed intensive hovering for the US-Led Coalition warplanes.

Noteworthy that ISIS military operations went rapid recently, especially after bombarding the Syrian regime positions around Abu Kamal city and Al-Kam station and Hamima desert and capturing Sabe'e Bayar area and Zaza checkpoint in the Syrian desert.
