One Child Reportedly Dead Due To Shelling With Toxic Gases Near Damascus

Damascus (Qasioun) – One Child reportedly dead after being exposed previously to a missile carrying chemical gases in Damascus countryside.

 

Directorate of Damascus and its countryside announced that the child was receiving treatment through the breathing machines after being exposed to toxic gases used to bombard Eastern Ghouta area 4 days ago.

 

The directorate added that the child "Ahmed Al-Ahmed" was ambulanced with 18 others in Shayfonia town to the nearest medical centers in Ghouta, but he died after being exposed badly to the toxic gases, while the others went safely out of the incident after receiving treatment.

 

The directorate indicated that all the attempts to save the child's life failed, asserting that he is the second child reportedly dead among the infected civilians.

 

Syrian regime forces bombarded Shayfonya town in Eastern Ghouta area on Sunday with Chlorine gases, which led to casualties among the civilians, despite of the UN Security Council's Humanitarian truce.
