Olive Branch Advances North Afrin And Controls 9 Villages

Agencies (Qasioun) - Turkish military and Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters cleared Zaytunak, Sorani, Heyyani, Sharqanli ,Arab Wiran and other 4 villages from People's Protection Forces (YPG) in northern parts of Syria's Afrin region, Anadolu Agency said Tuesday.


In this case the YPG had been cut off from direct contact with the Turkish border in Kilis province following the capture of the Deir Sawwan village.


The YPG forces have fired nearly 100 rockets targeting civilian areas in the border provinces of Kilis and Hatay, killing seven people since the beginning of the Operation Olive Branch.


Noteworthy that the operation on Jan. 20 to remove the PKK/PYD/YPG/KCK and Daesh terrorists from Afrin district.
