Syrian Regime Withdraws Its Forces From Homs Towards Damascus And Idlib

Homs (Qasioun) - Local media revealed on Friday that the forces of the Syrian regime withdrew all its forces and foreign militias loyal to it from the city of Palmyra east of Homs.
The regime also withdrew troops from the town of Palmyra during the past two days.
Syrian forces suffered heavy losses on the Harasta and Idlib fronts following two battles launched by the Syrian opposition aimed at stop the regime's attacks on Idlib, Hama and Ghouta fronts.
The forces of the Syrian regime and foreign militias entered with the support of Russian warplanes the city of Palmyra in early 2017 after fierce battles with ISIS, which has extended control of the city for two years.
