  • SDF Seizes Gharanij Town Eastern Deir Ezzor

    Deir Ezzor (Qasioun) – The Syrian democratic forces SDF militant group could seize over Gharanij town near the Euphrates river in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.


    SDF approaching Haijn town which is 25km far from the Syrian – Iraqi borders, where clashes are running between both sides, simultaneously while mutual shelling were running with artillery and missiles.


    SDF seizure came during a running operation called Al-Jazeera storm launched by the US-backed forces that aims to seize northern and eastern Deir Ezzor, in addition to the southern countryside of Hasakeh.


    Noteworthy that ISIS lost recently swaths of land in Syria and receded to the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and eastern Hasakeh, following military operations launched by both Syrian regime and SDF since the beginning of this year.
