Casualties From The Russian Forces In Latakia

Latakia (Qasioun) - Local sources said that on Friday evening many Russian troops were killed and wounded as they were targeted by a car bomb in the countryside Latakia.


The sources said that the car bomb exploded when a convoy of Russian troops was passing on the road between the village of Bustan Pasha and Hameimim Airport in the south-eastern Latakia countryside.


The explosion was followed was an intensive flight of Russian helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft in the countryside of the city of Jablah and near the Russian base in Hameimim, without claiming responsibility for the bombing from any side.


An official document published by Western media two weeks ago revealed that at least 131 Russian fighters were killed in Syria during the first nine months of this year.
