For the third time in less than a year, the Syrian Ministry of Interior raises the fees for the immediate passport

Yesterday, Saturday, the Syrian Ministry of Interior raised the fees for the immediate issuance of passports to 500,000 Syrian pounds instead of 300,000 pounds.

The ministry said that as of Sunday, September 4, those wishing to issue an immediate passport can obtain it on the same day by paying a fee of 500,000 Syrian pounds.

He added that this allows the possibility of obtaining a passport without the need to reserve paper through the electronic passport platform, provided that it is delivered to the potential customer on the same day.

The waiting period for the appointment to submit documents through the platform varies from person to person, ranging from two to six months, and after going to this appointment and submitting documents, the person will receive his passport after at least a period of more than two months.

On May 24, the ministry raised the fees for issuing an instant passport from 102,000 to 300,000 for the second time.
